PART FIVE- MAGE QUARTER
Amaterasu demanded that the raid head towards the Mage Quarter to purchase potions and elixirs in order to ensure their success. McJudgin agreed, and the little troop started off towards the mysterious shops of the violet district.
After crossing over the canals and strolling through the stone archway, McJudgin raised a hand to halt the raid, creating a domino effect as each child crashed into the kid in front of them. After Specialkidd slammed into the little paladin, McJudgin looked back at the crumpled heap his raid had become with a sigh.
“I can’t walk for you, guys. Come on. Pay attention.”
He then turned back to his latest discovery: a night elf boy and a Pandaren cub giggling hysterically, clutching their sides as they rolled in the soft grass and vines of the Mage Quarter. Surrounding the laughing children were a hodge-podge of different mage portals, destinations varying between Darnassus and Ironforge and the Exodar.
Prunced got up on his tiptoes to peer over the shoulders of the raid who had gathered behind McJudgin to watch the little Kal’dorei druid and Pandaren mage giggle and snort in their hysterics.
“What’s so funny? What did they do? I wanna know the joke!”
The little druid boy laying in the grass gave them a wicked grin.
“Kites tricked a little warlock girl into a taking a portal!” he giggled.
Killushot snorted in laughter, but Surei looked worried.
“Where did she go?”
Kites, the Pandaren mage, shrugged.
“Dunno.”
“Is she coming back?” Stabstuff asked.
“Maybe?” the druid boy answered.
And then the two broke into uncontrollable laughter once more.
McJudgin forced himself to hold back his own chuckle.
“Well, we are going on a quest. Wanna come?”
The druid night elf boy wiped his eyes of his tears of laughter before scrambling up off the ground.
“Sure. I’m Lilsociopath. This is Kites. We’ll come with… til we get bored.”
McJudgin nodded in satisfaction.
“Fair enough. Let’s go then. We need potions.”
When the growing band of children spilled into the alchemy shop, the little paladin raid leader clambered up onto a crate to reach the counter before looking the amused shopkeeper in the eye.
“Potion seller! We are going into battle, and we want only your strongest potions!”
